The region is known for its consistency and variety of wave options, with world-class perfection to suit most levels of surfing ability.

The best time of the year to surf the area is from March to November with peak season swells being May, June, July and August with July and August sending the biggest swells of the year, arriving from the S-SW and occasionally W-SW to due west directions.

SE winds are dominating this time of the year but wind direction can often change in islands regularly so the option of a boat charter will always give you greater flexibility for exploring the islands in different wind and swell conditions.
